Started from very small beginnings in 1995, we purchased Electric Ink in 1998 and have continued to grow the business through solid work ethics and lots of long hours. Now one of the most respected tattoo studio's in the country - our market stretches from the Wellington region to the Manawatu/Wanganui/Waiarapara areas. We also cater for the huge tourist market coming to our beautiful country every year and because of our quick turn-over, short waiting lists and work ethics we can usually book appointments within 1-2 weeks to cater for them. As summer is always extremely busy it pays to come in and book well in advance to avoid missing out.

Word of mouth is our best advertising and as we are well known and  respected by attending various shows,appearing on Tattoo related television and  radio features,magazines and newspaper etc.

We are usually very busy and wish to treat our customers with respect and not as a number, as we expect to be, so we advise you take the time to come in and book in advance.

In our Levin studio we raised over $9250N.Z for Christchurch Earthquake Appeal on Sun 27th Feb,4 tattooists,hard at it all day,140 tattoos,good effort and thanks to all involved.

Sun 6th March,same again,$4500,2 tattooists,84 tattoos raising funds for tattooists in Christchurch who have lost their colleagus/friends and livelyhoods. 

In our Paraparaumu studio on Sun 20th,for Fund-raising,we tattooed  the winners of our original Kiwiana design auction,raising another $1000

All up we have raised near $15000 in 3 weeks toards Earthquake Relief,many thanks to those who helped and donated..

The Electric Ink ladies looked very Glamorous all dolled up working at the Womens Lifestyle Expo in Palmerston North on the 21-22nd May,made many new clients and contacts.

Libby is heading to Oz for a working holiday in March,based in Ballarat.

Dave and Tracey are Heading back to the U.K.in April/May for awhile,working/show circuit holiday,Anzac Day in Gallipoli and catching up with oversaes clients.
